It was also featured in&nbsp;Westways, the&nbsp;magazine&nbsp;for AAA members in Southern California!&nbsp;Makes one sea urchin shooter so multiply as necessary per number of servings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>1 ounce uni<\/li><li>1\u20444 teaspoon finely chopped green onions<\/li><li>1\u20442 teaspoon tobiko (flying fish roe) or masago (capelin roe)<\/li><li>Very small pinch of wasabi<\/li><li>Splash of ponzu (Japanese citrus-based sauce)<\/li><li>1 ounce sake, ginger beer, or ginger ale<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Prepare:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Place uni in shot glass.<\/li><li>Add green onions and tobiko.<\/li><li>Add wasabi using two toothpicks, one to gather it up and the other to scrape it off the first toothpick (use a very small pinch of the wasabi so as not to overpower the flavor of the uni).<\/li><li>Top with splash of ponzu, fill rest of glass with sake or ginger beverage, and serve.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This recipe is meant to be consumed in one shot, but it\u2019s okay to let it linger on your tongue!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Products<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"\/\/catalinaop.com\/uni\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sea Urchin Roe \u2013 Uni<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This recipe was created by Dave Rudie, founder and CEO of Catalina Offshore Products.
